George Quarles Takes Over At Knox Webb
The most recent update on George Quarles is his return to the high school ranks as the new Head Football Coach at Webb School of Knoxville.
New Position: He was announced as the head coach at Webb School of Knoxville on December 9, 2025.
Previous Collegiate Role: Prior to this, Quarles served as the Tight Ends Coach at Austin Peay State University (APSU) from 2024 to the time of the announcement.
Coaching History: He is known as one of the most successful high school coaches in East Tennessee history, having led Maryville High School to 11 state titles and 250 wins over 22 seasons. He was also the Head Football Coach at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) from 2022 to 2023.
